Veterinarian

West Allis Animal Hospital is looking for a veterinarian to join our supportive and dedicated 4 doctor practice. Our hospital has been providing veterinary care to cats, dogs and pocket pets in the West Allis area for well over 100 years. We have a reputation for providing high quality, compassionate care to an established and loyal, yet growing client base.  

Our group of experienced doctors, along with the skilled and long-tenured team members, strive to deliver exceptional care tailored to the unique needs of each individual pet and owner. We take great pride in educating our clients and the ideal candidate should value the same. This candidate would also possess excellent communication skills, compassion and critical thinking. A candidate with diagnostic, surgical and dental experience preferred, but the opportunity for a new graduate does exist. 

Our bright and welcoming building is equipped with in-house Idexx laboratory equipment, digital x-ray, dental X-ray, surgical and therapy laser. We also have on-site groomers and a boarding facility. 

Located in West Allis, WI, a family friendly suburb of Milwaukee with great school systems and a bustling restaurant scene. We’re about six miles from Lake Michigan and the site of the Wisconsin State Fair is just down the block! Milwaukee is home to several well-known breweries, a lively sports scene along with many museums. It is also known as the “City of Festivals” and holds weekly festivals in the summer.

Groomer

Bring your passion and experience to West Allis Animal Hospital! We are looking for an experienced groomer to join our dedicated team to support our loyal clients and adorable patients. 

West Allis Animal Hospital is a multi-doctor, full service animal hospital. We have been serving West Allis and the surrounding communities for over 100 years!

This is a full-time position, but will consider part-time for the right candidate. The schedule is flexible, though some Saturday hours may be required. 

The ideal candidate is well versed in the grooming techniques and cuts for all breeds of cats and dogs and has excellent client service skills. Top priority will be given to those individuals with current industry expereine and an established client base.

Veterinary Technician

West Allis Animal Hospital is looking for an experienced full-time Veterinary Technician to join our team and act as a mentor to other team members. We are a high quality, multi-doctor, full-service hospital. We are looking for an experienced technician who wants to join a hospital that is dedicated to active learning and advanced medical procedures. This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule – although you will be asked to work some evenings and rotating Saturday shifts will be required.

Candidates must have experience in the following areas: venipuncture, pharmacy duties, lab work, radiology and handling medical records, with additional experience in surgical assistance, maintaining & monitoring anesthetized patients. Top priority will be given to LVT or CVT candidates and those with pocket pet experience, although all candidates will be considered.

Our Veterinary Technicians play an integral role in providing excellent care to our patients as well as serving as major communicators for our hospital. Candidates must also possess excellent customer service and communication skills. A caring and compassionate attitude is required of all members of our team.
